New AI prompt-based video creation engine connects all parts of the video creation journey — from ideation to publishing and everything in between.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — September 14, 2026 — Socialive, the AI-first enterprise video creation platform, today announced the launch of early access to Catalyst, its new AI prompt-based video creation engine designed to dramatically simplify how organizations create video at scale.

Beginning this month, a select group of Socialive customers will gain early access to Catalyst as part of the company’s beta program, providing feedback and helping shape the experience ahead of broader availability. Socialive expects to make Catalyst generally available in October 2026.

Catalyst represents the next evolution of Socialive’s mission to make enterprise video dramatically easier to create.

While generative AI has made it easier than ever to create individual pieces of content, enterprise video remains complex. Creating high-quality video at scale requires coordinating people, AI, production workflows, brand standards, compliance, approvals, enterprise controls, and publishing.

Catalyst brings those pieces together.

Instead of requiring users to navigate different tools and workflows, Catalyst provides a single, conversational entry point into the Socialive platform. Users simply describe what they want to create, and Catalyst helps orchestrate the work required to bring that vision to life.

Catalyst is designed for both experienced video creators who know exactly what they want and people who need more guidance. It begins by developing a project plan through a conversational exchange, gathering the information, assets, brand requirements, and creative direction needed before content is generated.

This prompt-guided approach gives users greater control over the outcome while reducing unnecessary rounds of generation and revision.

“AI has dramatically lowered the barrier to creating content, but it hasn’t solved the complexity of creating video at enterprise scale,” said David Moricca, Founder and CEO of Socialive. “Enterprise video requires coordinating people, workflows, branding, compliance, approvals, and distribution. Catalyst brings those pieces together into a single AI-first experience, allowing organizations to focus on communicating instead of managing production.”

Built on Socialive’s enterprise video platform, Catalyst connects the capabilities organizations need throughout the video creation journey — from ideation and production to post-production, approval, and publishing.

With Catalyst, organizations will be able to:

  • Create video through natural-language prompts
  • Receive guidance based on their level of video proficiency
  • Generate ideas, topics, scripts, visuals, and clips
  • Turn static content and existing media into video
  • Automate branded templates and creative requirements
  • Transform existing long-form content into new video assets

The vision for Catalyst goes beyond prompt-based video creation. Catalyst will ultimately orchestrate the entire video creation journey — from scheduling and producing a thought leadership interview to turning a webinar into social-ready clips, creating branded video from existing content, routing assets through compliance review, and publishing approved content across enterprise systems.

The result is a more intuitive way for organizations to create more video without sacrificing the authenticity, brand consistency, governance, and control required by the enterprise.

Catalyst is also designed to address one of the emerging challenges of generative AI: unpredictable output and the cost of repeated generation. By creating a project plan and allowing users to refine their direction before generation begins, Catalyst is designed to use AI resources more efficiently while improving the predictability of the final output.

“One major issue for enterprise firms using AI is the randomness of the output,” said Ben Davenport, CTO of Socialive. “By building decision logic and rule-based failsafes into Catalyst, we can create greater predictability without sacrificing creativity or uniqueness. That feeling of not quite getting what you asked for is frustrating for people new to AI prompting — and costly for businesses when repeated generations consume unnecessary resources.”

Catalyst builds on the Socialive platform organizations already use to create, record, edit, manage, and distribute video. Rather than replacing those capabilities, Catalyst creates an intelligent orchestration layer across them, making the entire platform dramatically easier to use.

Early access to Catalyst begins in September with select Socialive customers, with general availability planned for October 2026.

Why we're building Catalyst

Three things you’ll learn:

  • What is Catalyst and why are we building it?
  • How is Catalyst different from just using ChatGPT or Claude?
  • What does the future of AI-first enterprise video look like?

AI is fundamentally changing how we create.

Instead of opening a software tool, learning how it works, and moving through a series of steps, we can increasingly just describe what we want. A simple prompt can generate ideas, write copy, summarize a document, or turn a thought into a first draft in seconds.

We believe video creation is headed in the same direction.

Over the years, Socialive has made enterprise video dramatically easier by moving sophisticated creation and production capabilities to the cloud — from recording and editing to templates, branding, publishing, and AI-powered post-production.

Catalyst takes the next leap forward.

Rather than asking someone to navigate all of those tools and workflows themselves, Catalyst lets them start with what they already know: what they want to create.

Give Catalyst an idea, a document, existing content, brand guidelines, and a simple prompt, and it begins orchestrating the creation process — bringing together AI with Socialive’s existing video capabilities, enterprise workflows, brand standards, and governance to get from idea to finished video faster.

It’s not a departure from what we’ve built. It’s a simpler, AI-first way to unlock and orchestrate it.

And as AI continues to evolve, we believe the distance between having an idea and creating a professional, on-brand, enterprise-ready video will continue to shrink.

Catalyst is our new AI-first, prompt-based video creation engine that transforms a simple prompt into enterprise-ready video by orchestrating recordings, brand guidelines, static content, and production workflows in a single experience.

Our vision has always been and continues to be to fundamentally change how enterprises create video.

From prompt to production

Imagine asking AI to transform a webinar into short-form social content, create promotional videos from an in-depth market study or report, or turn a recorded executive update into a polished company announcement.

That’s the promise of Catalyst.

With a simple prompt, Catalyst understands what you’re trying to accomplish and begins orchestrating the production process. It can transform static content into dynamic video, automate editing and production, build branded layouts, and apply graphics and transitions.

And eventually, Catalyst will be able to go even further — performing an initial compliance review and routing content through your organization’s approval workflows.

Instead of producing another draft that requires hours of manual work to turn into something usable, Catalyst helps deliver enterprise-ready video aligned with your brand, standards, and production processes.

The experience is simple.
The orchestration behind it is anything but.

Why can’t I just use Claude or ChatGPT?

It’s one of the first questions we hear.

“If Claude or ChatGPT can generate content from a prompt, why do I need Catalyst?”

It’s a fair question — and an important one.

Large language models are extraordinary reasoning engines. They can generate ideas, analyze information, summarize documents, write scripts, and help determine what content to create. Catalyst can leverage leading AI models for exactly these kinds of capabilities.

But the AI model is only one part of creating enterprise video.

The harder problem is everything that has to happen around the model to turn its output into a finished video an enterprise can actually use.

The video needs to reflect your brand. It may need to incorporate approved templates, graphics, layouts, existing content, or enterprise knowledge. It needs to be produced and edited. And within an enterprise, it ultimately needs to fit into the governance, approval, compliance, and distribution processes that allow content to be created safely and at scale.

That infrastructure doesn’t come with an AI model.

It’s what Socialive has spent years building.

We became the first video creation platform to unify remote recording, editing, publishing, and livestreaming. Over time, we’ve expanded that foundation with AI-powered post-production, brand controls, enterprise collaboration, governance, integrations, and workflows designed for organizations creating video at scale.

Catalyst puts an AI-first orchestration layer on top of that foundation.

Instead of asking employees to stitch together an AI model, editing software, templates, brand assets, production processes, and publishing tools, Catalyst brings those pieces together in a single experience — with even more enterprise workflows and intelligence becoming part of that orchestration over time.

So the question isn’t really whether Catalyst can do what Claude or ChatGPT can do.

It’s what happens after the AI gives you an answer.

Catalyst is designed to take that intelligence and operationalize it across the enterprise video creation process — from prompt to production.

Why AI-first matters

Many software companies are adding AI features to existing products.

We’re taking a different approach.

Catalyst was designed as an AI-first experience from the beginning.

That distinction matters.

Traditional software asks people to understand the tool: where to click, which feature to use, what workflow to follow, and how to move from one production step to another.

An AI-first experience starts with intent.

What are you trying to create?

The prompt becomes the starting point. Catalyst interprets that intent and orchestrates the work behind the scenes, while people remain in control of creative decisions and final outcomes.

That has the potential to dramatically expand who can create video inside an organization.

A financial advisor shouldn’t need to become a video editor to share timely market insights. A recruiter shouldn’t need production expertise to create a recruiting campaign. An executive shouldn’t need a production team every time they want to communicate authentically with employees.

The expertise should increasingly live in the platform.

This isn’t about replacing people.

It’s about removing the friction that keeps people from creating.

By combining AI with enterprise video capabilities, brand standards, production expertise, and — increasingly — governance, compliance, and organizational workflows, Catalyst gives more people across an organization the ability to create professional, enterprise-ready video without requiring them to become video experts.

Building the future of enterprise video

We believe the future of enterprise video won’t be defined by who has access to the latest AI model.

It will be defined by who can operationalize AI across the entire video creation process.

That’s the vision behind Catalyst.

Today, Catalyst is an AI-first, prompt-based video creation engine that helps organizations create video faster, more consistently, and at greater scale.

But this is just the beginning.

As Catalyst evolves, we see it becoming the orchestration layer for enterprise video operations — bringing together AI, people, enterprise knowledge, brand standards, compliance, production workflows, and the systems organizations already use into a single intelligent experience.

The underlying AI models will continue to get better. New models will emerge. Capabilities that seem extraordinary today will become commonplace.

That’s precisely why we believe the value isn’t simply in the model.

The value is in what you enable the model to do.

For Socialive, that means connecting AI to the infrastructure, intelligence, workflows, and expertise required to create enterprise video at scale.

Because the future isn’t simply AI-generated content.

It’s AI-first enterprise video creation.
